The Madden 22 cover has finally been revealed and, of course, we were all right about it

Normally, there’s a big mystery surrounding who will be on the Madden cover every year. It’s typically a well-kept secret.

EA will give us hints along the way, but it’s never been an easy thing to figure out. Not until this year, anyway. When EA announced they’d be revealing two cover athletes this year and used a “two goats” promotion to do it, we all knew what was good.

Patrick Mahomes and Tom Brady were very clearly going to be the two athletes for the cover.

Were there other possibilities? Sure. Were they ever really going to happen? Absolutely not.

Turns out we were all right. Madden unveiled the cover on Thursday and, whaddaya know, it’s Brady and Mahomes.

This was pretty easy. Every Madden fan knew the entire time what was going on. Make it more challenging next time, EA.
