A Newport restaurant has launched a new outdoor pod dining experience with river views.
Customers at The Pod in Newport can now enjoy a meal while looking out over the River Usk.
Owner Paul Young said: "We've had positive feedback from everybody really with regard to offering something different in Newport."

There are two pods available for visitors to use, with each pod being able to hold up to 10 people. They are located outside the restaurant in their own designated area.
The interior of the pods is currently being completed for them to open to visitors this weekend, and have come down to Newport from Shop Pods UK, a company producing dining pods for businesses across the UK.
Kingsley Developments Ltd were commissioned to design and install the pods.
The pods have a 'Tiki' theme, Paul said, with similarly themed cocktails and food being served. To use the pods, visitors will have to book ahead through the Design My Night booking system on The Pod's website .
These new pods will be the latest addition to Newport's outdoor dining trend, following calls to pedestrianise the high street.
The Pod, located on Rodney Road, offers organic coffee, fine wines, and street food. Serving everything from burritos to burgers, the restaurant is known for it's selection of cocktails as well as it's 'Street Food Sundays' featuring the 'Dirty Roastie.'
The venue is open from 4pm between Wednesday and Friday, and from 12pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
