The Lumpheads by Randolph Booth – review

Randolph Booth, The Lumpheads: An Odyssey of Idiocy

The Lumpheads is one of the funniest books I have ever read. The rhyme is amazing and had me laughing throughout. It is incredibly detailed and quite fast when you get the rhythm but because none of the main characters have any brains you never know what's going to happen next so you're always surprised at just how daft things get. I think this is a big plus because in most books you can kind of guess how things will turn out but the end of this book was really unpredictable and has a great twist.

The pictures are great too. They have a lot of detail and a unique style.

Overall this book was awesome, the characters, the story and the end twist as well as the illustrations are all amazing and really original. It's like a big poem for anyone who likes stupid things. I like funny, dark silly books and this is definitely my new favourite 10/10.
