A five star swanky hotel frequented by high profile celebrities including Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Kylie Minogue and Take That is re-inventing its dining and drink offer following a seven-figure refurbishment.
The renovation of the Lowry Hotel’s bar and restaurant, which will complete in late September, will feature soft hues, a new layout and bespoke furnishings while retaining its riverside views and terrace.
The Lowry Lounge & Bar will benefit from a new feature bar and a choice of sociable or comfortable secluded seating.
There will also be an entertainment and events programme featuring live performances most nights and a new drinks and food offer under the stewardship of food and beverage manager Daniel Thompson.

Head chef Dave Ashton is composing a mix of dishes heavily featuring locally sourced produce to be enjoyed alongside the hotel’s ‘fine wines from world-famous vineyards.’
The River Restaurant will also continue to offer its popular Sunday lunch and daily afternoon tea in the newly refurbished surroundings.
The new look is being created by renowned interior designers, Goddard Littlefair, who also designed the hotel’s newly refurbished presidential suite and lobby areas.
2019 is a huge year for investment at the hotel with plans to redesign the hotel’s luxury corner suites and upgrade its meeting spaces.
While the renovations of the dining and drinks space take place, the hotel’s ballroom has been transformed into an pop-up restaurant and bar to cater for guests.

The Lowry Hotel has 165 bedrooms and six suites, as well as a spa, restaurant and bar, and a variety of meeting and event spaces.
