The lovely moment a girl who lost limbs is surprised with her favourite toys for Christmas

This is the heartwarming moment Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid surprised a girl who lost all of her limbs with her favourite toys for Christmas.

Harmonie-Rose Allen lost her limbs after contracting meningitis when she was just 10 months old.

She was given only a 10 per cent chance of survival, and doctors were forced to amputate her legs and arms.

Harmonie-Rose has previously completed the Bath half-marathon, walking across the finish line on her prosthetic legs.

And the youngster wants to take part in a run next year to raise money for her school.

Asked by Piers and Susanna what makes her so happy all the time, she admitted it was her baby sister, Luna.

After showing the pair how she can walk on her new blades, Piers said: “Because you’re walking so brilliantly, I’ve got a little Christmas present for you.”

Piers then walked behind the settee and brought out a massive dolls house, as Harmonie-Rose said "oh my god".

Piers then brought out dolls for the house and another hidden present in a big silver box.

Asked whether she liked the presents, Harmonie-Rose said: “Yes, I love it!”

Good Morning Britain viewers took to Twitter to praise the youngster.

One said: “Harmonie-Rose is absolutely adorable!  Hope she has a fantastic Christmas!”

Another viewer said: “This brightened up my day. What a girl!”

A third said: “We could all really learn something from the amazing Harmonie-Rose.”
