The Love Island couples still together ahead of ITV2 show's return

Love Island is returning to our screens tonight as a brand new bunch of singletons head to the show's latest villa on the island of Majorca for the 2022 series. The line-up for the series has already been confirmed with the first episode set to air on Monday, June 6 over on ITV2 from 9pm.

Amongst the contestants on this year's eighth series, is 19-year-old Gemma Owen, the daughter of former footballer turned sports pundit and commentator Michael Owen. Ahead of the new series, our sister title Yorkshire Live have gone through the Love Island archives and taken a look into which pairs from previous years are still loved up.

Since 2015, viewers have seen hundreds of contestants heading to sun-kissed locations in their search for love. Whilst some relationships haven't continued after the show, some of the islanders did find love and have since gone on to get married and welcome children.

Millie Court and Liam Reardon - Love Island 2021

Despite some ups and downs whilst they were in the villa, the pair were crowned the winners of last year's series and bagged the £50k prize money.
