The Lottie Project by Jacqueline Wilson - review

This book is about a young girl named Charlie. It explores her life with her very young mum Jo and her school life sitting next to the terrible, nerdy Jamie Edwards while being in Mrs Beckworth’s class.

Charlie researches into the life of servants for her Victorian project at school and writes her very own diary. Charlie likes it to be just her and Jo but what will happen when a new man and a young boy enter their lives?

Some of the characters include Lisa and Angela who are Charlie’s friends and Charlie’s worrying, doubtful grandma.

My favourite character was Charlie because she was very popular and smart. My least favourite character was Jamie because he was a teacher’s pet!

My favourite part of the book was when Jo and Charlie were playing silly little games. My least favourite part was when Jo and Charlie went over to Grandpa and Grandma’s house as they were mean to Jo and Charlie and it was a bit boring.

Overall I highly recommend this book and rate it 5/5.
