
Young Remi searches for his parents
Based on 1878 French novel Sans Famille (which translates as Without a Family) Remi, Nobody's Boy is the story of an orphan Remi (Maleaume Paquin). His stepfather Jerome (Jonathan Zaccaï) found him when he was left in Paris when he was a baby. At that time, Remi wore expensive clothes, making Jerome decide to take the baby home because he expected to earn a reward from the real parents. Remi lives with in his new home until he is 10 years old. One day when Jerome comes home after losing his money, he is upset to see Remi and decides to take the boy to an orphanage. Remi tries to escape and runs into street artist Vitalis (Daniel Auteuil) who buys Remi from his foster parents. Vitalis helps Remi to discover his singing talent. And when they hear news about Remi’s real parents, Vitalis and Remi travel together to meet them. But they will face many obstacles along the way.
