The latest set of easing measures have been introduced as Scotland continues its journey out of lockdown.
A number of changes have been introduced lately, including shielding being paused since Saturday (August 1), meaning people in the highest risk category of contracting coronavirus can now follow the same advice as the rest of the public.
The Scottish Government also confirmed last week that schools will return full-time from August 11, with safety rules laid out.
The lockdown rules easing today
From today (August 3), eye exams and other routine eye care services will be reintroduced and can take place either within optometrists or at patients' homes.
Non-NHS counselling services can relaunch from today, including drug and alcohol support groups.
Limits on sport coaching has been relaxed, with coaches now able to meet with groups from more than four households at a time.
The next steps
From August 17, dentists will be able to expand their services to offer urgent treatment which involves aerosols.
Organised contact sports for all ages outdoors are expected to resume from August 24, subject to a further review.
However, indoor premises such as gyms and swimming pools are not expected to reopen before September 14. Nicola Sturgeon has said she will try to pull this date forward if health and safety advice allows.
From August 24, bingo, funfairs, amusement arcades and casinos, pool halls and indoor bowling are expected to be given the go-ahead to reopen.
Driving lessons are also pencilled in to resume from August 24.
