This book is amazing, it is absolutely awesome! It tells the story of a boy named Christopher Chant and his battle/adventure with good and evil! He starts off as an out of the ordinary boy in a rich family. Then he meets his uncle. They do experiments together but when Christopher finds out he is the next crestomanci (an enchanter with 9 lives) everything changes…
The book was very interesting but I found the first chapter boring, so give this book a chance before putting it down because afterwards it is spellbinding! I thought that it was boring at the start because it had no adventurous feel. Other than that it was very exciting as there was a lot of suspense.
It was enthralling, thrilling, action-packed and imaginative. I really liked this book and would recommend it to over 8s.
