Trent Alexander-Arnold and Joel Matip will miss Liverpool’s visit to Genk due to a virus and minor knee injury respectively.
The pair missed out on a place in the Reds’ travelling party ahead of the third fixture of their Champions League group-stage campaign.
But neither man is facing an extended spell on the sidelines, according to manager Jurgen Klopp.
“Trent is ill and Joel is not ready," the German told the club's official website.
“It is just a little thing which usually settles in the two weeks [Matip] had; it did, but then it came up after the United game and so now we just have to make sure this time it settles finally, that’s all. It is not a massive injury, it’s just a bit annoying for him and he cannot do it [face Genk].

“Trent got ill overnight; hopefully he can recover quickly, but for tomorrow there was no chance.”
Klopp’s options have been boosted by the availability of Mohamed Salah, who has recovered from the ankle issue that forced him to miss Sunday’s draw with Manchester United.
“It’s absolutely good to have him back,” the Liverpool boss added. “The squad is cool, it’s a good squad, everything is OK, but that’s all.”
However, he will not be able to call upon Xherdan Shaqiri, whose return from a calf tear has been delayed.
“It’s just taken a little bit longer, that’s how it is,” Klopp continued.
“We expected him to be back this week, but now he is not here obviously so we will see when he can be back.
“It’s a really specific thing for him. It is not a big thing, it just takes a little bit longer than we expected and that’s all.”

Predicted Liverpool XI: Alisson; Gomez, Lovren, Van Dijk, Robertson; Wijnaldum, Keita, Milner; Salah, Firmino, Mane.
