Tracking 1,133 property transactions between June 2018 and June 2019, the figures show the average difference between asking prices on Rightmove and their actual sold prices lodged at the HM Land Registry.
The data captures the entire house sale process from initial listing, viewings, negotiation, offers, agreement through to the survey process, conveyancing, exchange and finally completion.
However, due to the small number of house sales in the area , the data only captures two sellers who knocked an average of £17,750 from the initial asking price.
In the L37 postcode, 38 sellers dropped their asking prices by an average of £10,439.
Across the rest of Liverpool, homeowners reduced their asking prices by an average of £5,894 over the last 12 months.
