Property hot spots and upcoming areas are constantly changing in Liverpool - and keeping an eye on which areas are in demand is a common hobby for many homeowners.
But an article published by the ECHO earlier this year revealed that one postcode has seen house prices shooting up more than anywhere else in the city.
The figures showed which postcodes were seeing a spike in house prices across the region, with a bump in a number of areas.
If you think it would be the usual suspects like Mossley Hill and Formby boosting the figures you’d be wrong.

Whether it's keeping an eye on what you can afford in your dream neighbourhood or hoping your house price has gone up if you're putting it on the market - it's something plenty of us take an interest in.
Property website Zoopla exclusively revealed the top ten performing Liverpool postcodes for house price growth over the past 12 months - and the results were surprising.
Figures revealed L21 is the postcode where prices rose most across Liverpool, even compared to areas with much higher house prices.
The postcode, which covers Litherland and Seaforth as well as parts of Bootle and Waterloo, saw a bigger price rise than any other area over the last year.
Debbie Cliffe is the director of Whitegates Estate agents, which has an office near L21, and she explained why it is prices might have risen so sharply.
She said: "A recent article by Rightmove highlighting Bootle as one of three hot spots to invest in has brought a lot of interest to the area.
"This has increased demand for properties - and with supply being outstripped by demand, natural markets dictate an increase in house prices.
"It could be argued that properties in L20 and L21 have been artificially depressed due to the number of corporate sales over the years which have now tailed off allowing the local market to reset.
"There has been a lot of regeneration locally with big home builders also having a positive effect on the area. First time buyers coming to the market are getting much more for their money compared to other areas.
"We have three bedroom properties with front and back gardens for the same price as a typical two or three bed terrace in other relatively close postcodes."
These are the top 10 best performing postcodes for house prices across Liverpool.
