If there's one thing Liverpool fans love, it's an omen.
And Reds supporters will get their teeth into the latest portent ahead of their Champions League semi-final second leg against Barcelona.
Jurgen Klopp's side have it all to do at Anfield on Tuesday night having slipped to a 3-0 defeat in the first leg at Camp Nou last Wednesday.
But the appointment of referee Cuneyt Cakir for the match could be taken as a sign of encouragement.
The Turkish official has taken charge of only two previous Liverpool games, the most recent of which was the 3-2 home win over Paris Saint-Germain in the group stage earlier this season.
His other, though, was the occasion of the Reds' most recent remarkable European comeback, when they came from 3-1 down on the night to win 4-3 against Borussia Dortmund in their Europa League quarter-final second leg at Anfield in 2016.
Cakir has been in charge of eight previous Barcelona games in Europe, including the 2015 Champions League final in which Juventus were beaten 3-1.
However, the only Barcelona semi-final Cakir has officiated saw them eliminated by Chelsea in 2012 - another chink of light for the Reds.
