It hasn't quite gone to plan for Philippe Coutinho at Barcelona since his move from Liverpool in January last year.
The Brazilian did actually start off pretty impressively in the latter half of the 2017/18 campaign, but this current season simply hasn't seen the best of him.
Coutinho's struggles for form and a position in the team have become something of a Catalan soap opera, and he's now finding himself back in the transfer gossip columns linked with a move away - including to, of all clubs, Manchester United .
It remains to be seen whether that happens, but according to the Spanish press on Tuesday, some help may be on the way for a player who looks a little lost at the moment.

Many of the descriptions of Coutinho's displays at Barca have centred around an apparent shyness on the pitch, and a lack of confidence to express himself in a manner that we saw at Liverpool.
But according to Catalan publication Sport, he could soon be joined at the club by one of his best friends at Liverpool, Alberto Moreno, a move which would no doubt raise his spirits.

The pair were inseparable at times on Merseyside, and there was even talk that Coutinho was desperate not to see Moreno leave when it looked like he'd be departing in the summer of 2017.

Liverpool's decision not to hand him a new deal makes that departure inevitable this summer though.
And if Moreno does end up in Catalonia, the Reds might just have done their former player a favour.
