Since opening its doors, The Scholar Bar and Restaurant has been drawing people in with its hilarious A boards.
Each week the Roscoe Street bar posts a message outside its doors in hopes of cheering up someone’s day.
The messages range from wise-cracking jokes to hilarious puns - there are even some Beatles ones in there too.
Jokes on the board include: “Just broke two of my dad’s old Queen records - now I want to break three” and “I got mugged by six dwarves last night...not Happy”.
Nikki Rutherford, bar manager at The Scholar, said: “We do them to catch peoples eyes and draw them in.
“We always have people stopping and taking pictures and the customers, especially our regulars.
“They wait every Monday to see the newest one - it’s just a fun way for us to get people to stop and pop in.”
