Liverpool finally ended the wait for Jurgen Klopp's first trophy as Reds boss with Champions League final victory over Tottenham Hotspur in Madrid a year ago today.
As many Liverpudlians hoped, it has proved to be launching pad for further success with Klopp's men standing just two points away from a first league title in 30 years having since added the UEFA Super Cup and FIFA World Club Cup to the Anfield trophy room.
