The little-known Alton Towers hack that lets parents on rides without queuing

Trips to a theme park are supposed to be fun-filled but many parents will be aware that some things can get in the way.

Queuing up with little ones in tow can get stressful, especially when you want to try the big rides for yourself.

Alton Towers’ Parent Queue Share Pass has been around for a while, though many parents haven’t taken advantage of it.

The pass enables parents to trade off who gets to ride, so that their child is always supervised.

One parent can queue in the usual way, ensuring the pass is punched by a ride host, while the other waits with the child.

The second parent can then meet the first after the ride and take the pass straight to the host via the access point to enter the ride - meaning you won’t have to queue twice.

The Parent Queue Share Passes ensure that children are not left unsupervised and that parents can still enjoy the attractions.

Passes are available from the Alton Towers Box Office.
