Fans of espionage thriller, look no further! BBC One has just the miniseries for you as The Little Drummer Girl starts tonight.
Taking over the Sunday 9pm slot from The Cry, the series – based on a novel of the same name by John le Carré - is a gripping tale of espionage, lies, deceit and seduction.
The six-part thriller is from the same team behind The Night Manager, starring Tom Hiddleston, as a joint-venture between BBC, AMC and The Ink Factory.

What is The Little Drummer Girl about?
The Little Drummer Girl follows British actress Charlie as she embarks on a holiday romance with Becker, a mysterious figure whose intentions are not as romantic as they first seem.
Becker, actually an Israeli intelligence officer, enlists Charlie in his mission, devised by a spymaster known as Michael Kurtz. Taking on the role of a double agent in her biggest “theatre” yet, Charlie can’t help but be drawn into the complex web of lies surrounding her.
The six-part series is set in 1970s Greece, filmed earlier this year, and is the television debut of Park Chan-wook, the man behind The Handmaiden and Stoker.

Big Little Lies villain Alexander Skarsgård is Becker while rising star Florence Pugh, best known for Lady Macbeth, is Charlie.
