The Lions gave a game ball to an assistant coach in memory of his dad and the players loved it

Matt Patricia and the Detroit Lions remained unbeaten Sunday with their 27-24 win over the Eagles in Philadelphia.

Then after the game they shared a special moment in the locker room when Patricia gave the game ball to their offensive line coach, Hank Fraley.

Fraley, who used to play for the Eagles, lost his father a year ago and buried him near Philadelphia. He then visited his dad’s grave Sunday morning before the game.

Patricia spoke about how Fraley’s father was with the team during Sunday’s win and the players went nuts for Fraley after he was handed the ball.

What a great moment:

Now that is pretty darn special.
