The Line Online: London's first dedicated public art walk featuring Anish Kapoor and Antony Gormley sculptures goes online

Not getting enough culture on your daily walk? The free sculpture trail that traces a line between London’s public artworks has gone online.

The Line, the city’s first dedicated public art walk, features a changing programme of installations by artists including Antony Gormley, Abigail Fallis and Anish Kapoor - and now you can enjoy it without even leaving your house.

It has now launched The Line Online, a new interactive site allowing people to enjoy the trail via virtual means, as well as watch new interviews with the artists filmed at home during the lockdown.

The Line Online features information about all of the current installations, from Gormley’s Quantum Cloud and Kapoor’s ArcelorMittal Orbit to the newly erected Bird Boy by Laura Ford, which was unveiled last month on a pontoon at the Royal Victoria Dock.

Visitors can also learn about previous artworks on the trail by Martin Creed and Damien Hirst, and the upcoming projects by Rana Begum, Anne Hardy and Eva Rothschild that will serve as something to look forward to when the lockdown ends.
