The Libertines have confirmed Pete Doherty is safe after fears the frontman had disappeared following the cancellation of a concert due to a "medical situation".
Fans raised concerns about the singer's health after a Libertines show in Camden was pulled last-minute due to an unspecified medical "emergency".
Doherty's publicist told The Independent he had not heard from the singer since the cancelled show on Thursday night, while his manager said there was "no comment" in regards to his whereabouts.
The Libertines have now confirmed Doherty is safe,reminding fans that his health "is a very private matter".

"We can assure everyone that Peter is safe. Clearly this is a very private matter in many respects, but we also feel it necessary to let people know he is ok," the band wrote.
Doherty has a history of drink and substance abuse, often speaking openly about his problems with addiction. In November, he checked himself into a rehabilitation centre in Thailand, later confirming he was "clean".

The Libertines were due on stage at the Electric Ballroom on Thursday 10 September at 9.15pm but did not appear.
A spokesman told the crowd at 11.30pm the show had been cancelled. "Due to an emergency - a medical situations - tonight's show is being postponed," he said.
A show at the Ritz in Manchester and another show at the Electric Ballroom have also been postponed.
The band later issued a statement apologising to fans, assuring the shows will be rescheduled "as soon as possible".
