The least expensive properties sold in Bristol in 2021

Some properties across Bristol have been sold for a substantially lower price than you'd expect.

Several places across the city have sold for less than £100,000 in the past year, despite ever-rising house prices.

Last year BristolLive found that the average price for a home in Bristol stands at above £300,000. According to Rightmove, properties in Bristol had an overall average price of £369,258 in 2020.

However, the cheapest property sold in Bristol this year went for just £51,948 in Kingsdown.

So if you’re looking to buy in Bristol it might be useful to know where the cheapest properties in the city were bought and for what price.

Here is the full list of the least expensive, according to the Land Registry:

  • Flat 34, Oak House, Bishport Avenue, Bristol, BS13 0RY, which is a flat, sold for £52,000 on July 09 (This sale may have been a buy-to-let, a transfer to a company, or a repossession)
  • Second Floor Flat, 148 Ashley Road, Bristol, BS6 5PA, which is a flat, sold for £65,000 on May 14
  • Flat 17, Quay Point, Lime Kiln Road, Bristol, BS1 5AD, which is a flat, sold for £67,500 on February 24
  • Flat 4, 638 Bishport Avenue, Bristol, BS13 9EJ, which is a flat, sold for £70,000 on April 29
  • Flat 53, Anchor Point, Cathedral Walk, BS1 5JW, which is a flat, sold for £72,000 on February 15
  • Flat 3, Cook Court, Long Wood Meadows, BS16 1GP, which is a flat, sold for £75,000 on April 16
  • First Floor Flat, 148 Ashley Road, BS6 5PA, which is a flat, sold for £80,000 on July 23 (This sale may have been a buy-to-let, a transfer to a company, or a repossession)
  • 12 East Park, Bristol, BS5 6YA, which is a terrace house, sold for £80,000 on March 19
  • Flat 38, Patterson House, Prewett Street, Bristol, BS1 6PG, which is a flat, sold for £80,000 on April 15
