The Everton defender now faces race to be fit for Saturday's trip to West Ham United with club medical staff currently rating him as a doubt for the game.
Digne, 25, was forced to withdraw from the France squad after picking up the thigh problem in training ahead of their Euro 2020 qualifier with Moldova.
