The latest coronavirus death figures for each hospital in Greater Manchester

Thirty-five more coroanvirus deaths have been registered at Greater Manchester's hospitals in the last two days.

The region's hospital death toll has now reached 2,514, the latest NHS figures show.

Fourteen more coronavirus deaths have been registered by Pennine Acute Hospitals NHS Trust since Wednesday.

Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust recorded six more deaths. Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh NHS Foundation Trust recorded the same figure.

Five more lives have been lost to the virus at Tameside & Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust, two at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust and two at Bolton NHS Foundation Trust.

Nationally, a further 131 people who tested positive for Coronavirus have died, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 31,558.

Patients were aged between 45 and 99 years old, NHS England said.

All except two (aged between 77 and 91) had known underlying health conditions.

Date of death ranges from 13 September to 22 October 2020, with the majority being on or after 14 October.

The total number of coronavirus deaths at hospital trusts in Greater Manchester, as of Friday, October 23 is:

  • Bolton NHS Foundation Trust - 270
  • Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust - 9
  • Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust - 507
  • NHS Nightingale Hospital North West - 6
  • Pennine Acute Hospitals NHS Trust - 637
  • Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust - 6
  • Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust - 213
  • Stockport NHS Foundation Trust - 243
  • Tameside & Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust - 307
  • The Christie NHS Foundation Trust - 15
  • Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh NHS Foundation Trust - 300
