As summer fades, the weather turns colder, and the trees start to turn brown, The Last Of Us Part 1 Remake seems like the most thematically appropriate game to kick off September. It’s very nearly here, but you’re going to have to wait just a little bit longer to get your hands on this remastered classic.
Whether you’re experiencing it for the first time or revisiting one of the best games of the last decade, you’ll want to get going with it as soon as possible. We’ll tell you exactly when the game will unlock in your time zone, and all the details for pre-loading, which you can do right now.
The Last Of Us Part 1 Remake launch time
TLOU Remake is set for a staggered launch on September 2. This means that the game will unlock in your region as soon as it hits midnight in your time zone. According to the PlayStation store, however, there are a couple of exceptions. The first is mainland Europe, which will see the game release an hour later, at 1am CEST, the other is some regions of North America, which have it listed for 11pm CDT. These may be mistakes that are corrected on launch day, but that’s what is currently listed on the PS store.
How to pre-load The Last Of Us Part 1 Remake
The pre-loads are already live for the game right now on PS5. The download is a whopping 60GB, so you’ll definitely want to get that out of the way before launch day. To start the pre-load, find the game in your PS5 library and select it, this should take you to a page with a big “Download” button, hit that and your pre-load will start.
