Laneway Festival is back, babes — and 2026 is about to hit different. The cult-fave Aussie/NZ fest is officially turning 21 this summer, and the lineup? Unreal.
Think long-awaited debuts, iconic comebacks, and Laneway-only sets you literally won’t catch anywhere else.
Here’s everything we know about Laneway Festival 2026!
Laneway Festival 2026 lineup

First up: the pop girl of the moment, Chappell Roan, is finally gracing the Laneway stage. Yep, the Midwest princess turned global superstar is bringing her full gothic fairytale fantasy down under — a 90-minute spectacle that doubles as her first-ever Aussie tour. Bookmark it now: this is THE live music moment of summer.
Also making the birthday bash? Wolf Alice — the Mercury Prize winners who basically invented “indie that actually goes off live.” Plus, Laneway is serving exclusives on exclusives: Role Model’s sad-boy-but-make-it-charming bangers, PinkPantheress’ genre-defying internet pop, and the chaotic brilliance of Wet Leg.
In a move that feels like a fever dream, Yung Lean and Bladee are linking up for a rare joint set, bringing the Sadboys universe IRL — and yep, it’s only happening at Laneway.
The rest of the lineup keeps the energy high: Lucy Dacus’ razor-sharp storytelling, Alex G (indie king, no skips), Kiwi queen BENEE, bedroom-pop fave Cavetown, LA psych-folk gems Mt. Joy, and NYC dancefloor starter The Dare.
Of course, Laneway stays scouting the future — rising voices like Malcolm Todd, Oklou, Jensen McRae, Geese, Wisp, and Gigi Perez are all on deck. And repping home turf: Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers, Blusher, Shady Nasty, Armlock, The Belair Lip Bombs, and Djanaba are ready to light it up.
