The Lakers’ championship rings have two very sweet tributes to Kobe Bryant

LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers kicked off the defense of their 2019-2020 NBA title Tuesday night but losing to the Los Angeles Clippers, 116-109.

Before the game, however, they rightly celebrated their championship that happened just 72 days ago down in the bubble in Orlando.

The Lakers had a great ring ceremony that saw the players getting surprised by family members who presented them their rings via some very sweet videos that were shown on the Jumbotron.

These championship rings are pretty darn nice, too, as one would expect. The best part about them are two subtle tributes to Kobe Bryant – there’s a Mamba snake behind each players’ number on the ring and when you take off the top of the ring you can see his retired numbers.

Pretty awesome.
