All the talk after Tottenham's 2-2 draw at Manchester City was about VAR but Mauricio Pochettino had his own big moment that went under the radar.
Gabriel Jesus' 92nd minute strike being ruled out by VAR for a handball by Aymeric Laporte will take the headlines but the big moment that brought Spurs back into the game was a dramatic equaliser from Lucas Moura in the second half.
However, were it not for some quick thinking from Pochettino and his goalkeeping coach Toni Jiminez, Lucas might not have been on the pitch.
Spurs were readying the Brazilian for the substitution but with the visitors having earned a corner just before he approached the touchline, the moment almost passed.
The assistant referee checked with Jiminez whether Spurs still wanted to go ahead with the change.
The goalkeeping coach turned to Pochettino, and while many managers are not keen to make substitutions while attacking or defending corner, the Argentine made it very loud and clear that he wanted Lucas on now.
Jiminez turned and passed on the urgency of the Spurs bench and Lucas replaced Harry Winks.
Pochettino is well aware of Lucas' leaping ability and it proved to be a masterstroke as he jumped high above Kyle Walker to head home.
Ultimately his goal, coupled with Erik Lamela's in the first half, cancelled out Raheem Sterling and Sergio Ageuro's goals.
