The key changes Nottingham Forest have been urged to make for Middlesbrough clash

Nottingham Forest’s quest for promotion to the Premier League continues this evening as they take on Middlesbrough at the City Ground.

The Reds take on Jonathan Woodgate ’s side in their next match in the Sky Bet Championship, with both teams keen to get all three points for different reasons.

Sabri Lamouchi’s side are striving to return to the Premier League, and currently lie in fifth place in the Championship table and are in a good place to mount a promotion challenge.

In contrast, Boro are towards the bottom end of the Championship, four points above the relegation zone in Woodgate’s first season in charge.

We asked Reds fans to pick the starting line-up they should Lamouchi should select to face Boro tonight, and they have responded.

Forest supporters have opted to make three changes from the side that draw 2-2 with Millwall last week.

Fans have decided to revert back to a traditional back four, with Tobias Figueiredo the player dropping out.

This means Brice Samba keeps his place in goal, and is supported by Matty Cash, Joe Worrall, Michael Dawson and Jack Robinson in the backline.

Into midfield and the first new face sees Ryan Yates introduced for the first time after serving his three-game suspension for picking up a red card against Bristol City.

Yates replaces Alfa Semedo who drops out of the fans’ team, while Ben Watson and Tiago Silva retain their places.

The other changes see Lewis Grabban return as the main striker in place of Rafa Mir, while Joe Lolley also comes in as Sammy Ameobi moves onto the wing to form a more familiar 4-5-1 formation.

Do you agree with this line-up? If you haven’t already done, you can select the 11 you think Lamouchi should select to get the three points against Boro by using our custom-designed widget.
