The key appointments you may have missed in North Staffordshire

From a new HR assistant to an account and marketing executive, here are some of the top appointments you may have missed in North Staffordshire.

A Staffordshire-based HR company is celebrating its birthday by taking on its first employee.

People Team Solutions, which had been in business for 12 months in the summer, has appointed a new HR assistant.

Keele University under-graduate Ryan Kirkham, aged 21, is joining the Barlaston company after successfully completing a six-week work placement.

Sarah Plant, founder of People Team Solutions, said: “Ryan approached me to do his work placement and I am so glad he did.

“He is incredibly switched on and hit the ground running.

“I was so impressed with Ryan that I created a role for him.

“He’ll be supporting me with all aspects of HR and helping grow the business.”

Beeston Shenton Solicitors has appointed Russell Dutton as the head of its new Sports Law department at their Newcastle office.

Russell said: “We already have a number of people inside and outside the sporting world ready to assist us in this project and I just can’t wait to get going.

“We anticipate representing a wide cross section of clients across a multitude of sports.”

Two new recruits have joined technical PR agency Stone Junction.

The Stafford company has welcomed Italian engineering graduate Alessio Spaccasassi as account executive and published author Natasha Bodger as marketing executive.
