The Kelpies will be lit up red in honour of Remembrance Day until next week.
The giant 30-metre-high sculptures in Helix Park, Falkirk, will be illuminated in collaboration with Poppyscotland.
Over 200 other locations throughout the country are also expected to take part in the Scottish Poppy Appeal initiative.
This includes Scone Palace in Perth, the RRS Discovery in Dundee as well as the Royal and Ancient Clubhouse in St Andrews.
It comes as this year marks 100 years since the poppy was adopted as the national symbol of remembrance.
The money raised from the Poppy Appeal allows Poppyscotland to support members of the armed forces community.
They are able to provide advice, employment, housing, mental health and mobility services as a result of the fundraising.
