The Kardashians Instagram snaps at Kourtney wedding - a look at what filters really hide

Kourtney Kardashian married her long-term friend and Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker for a third time in a lavish wedding ceremony in Portifono on Sunday evening.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star, 43, kept things traditional and got married at the ancient Castello Brown fortress in the coastal town.

The lovebirds kept their guestlist small, and appeared to only invite some of their closest family and friends who watched the pair say their vows.

For her big day, Keeping up With The Kardashians star Kourtney wore a stunning Dolce and Gabbana lace minidress along with a white cathedral veil - and the reality TV star kept her adoring fans updated with every move she made.

Much like Kourtney, her sisters Kim, Khloe, Kendall, and Kylie also heavily documented their Italian getaway.

However, their seemingly heavily filtered Instagram photos looked worlds away from reality as all the glamorous sisters appeared to lighten their skin and even their clothes with editing tools, as well as smoothing their skin and enhancing not only their facial features, but also their bodies.

Over the years, the Kardashian-Jenner sisters have received much backlash from fans for editing their heavily filtered snaps, but it seems as though Kim, Khloe, Kendall, Kylie, and even Kourtney went all out with Photoshop in the lead up to the eldest Kardashian sister's big day.

As the famous sisters modelled their looks from the wedding's sponsor, Dolce & Gabbana, they seemingly couldn't pass up the opportunity to enhance their photos in a bid to make themselves look even more stunning.

However, their social media snaps tell a different story to the hundreds of paparazzi shots taken of them during their time in Italy.

Khloe's Instagram photos are a stark difference to the real-time snaps of her taken in Italy.

The 37-year-old Good American creator had brighter, more radiant skin in pictures posted on her Instagram compared to candid shots taken of her before, during, and after Kourtney's wedding.

It appears that Khloe even altered the colour of her clothes as she brightened up her chocolate brown Dolce & Gabbana mini-dress and thigh-high boots.

The blushing bride also appeared to edit her photos by smoothing her skin and adding a deeper filter as she appeared much more tanned in her social media photos compared to real life.

Kourtney also worked her angles in her striking Instagram post on Saturday which saw her model a sizzling black mini dress which did wonders for her figure.

Her younger sister Kylie also looked different in her Instagram photos in comparison to the paparazzi pictures taken of her in Italy.

Kylie's snaps appeared to be edited to perfection as she flaunted flawless skin, hair, and makeup while rocking a stunning rose-print bodycon dress.

And Kris Jenner's photos appeared to have been filtered as well.

The 66-year-old momager's complexion appeared smoother, much more polished and brighter on Instagram - giving her an incredibly youthful look.

While all the sister's clearly love a filter, only Khloe has admitted to actually using them.

In a 2016 interview, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star says she 'loves' editing her snaps when she's having a bad day in a bid to make her feel better.

"Of course I believe in airbrushing apps, I just think airbrushing apps, like who doesn't want to airbrush a thing here or there," she admitted.

"I love FaceTune, that one's great. I don't really know of many more, but a filter, that's like airbrushing. Who doesn't love a good filter? Sometimes you're having a bad day," she added.
