The Kapil Sharma Show: Daler Mehndi reacts to special dish 'Herbal mutton' and talks about brother Mika Singh's controversies

The latest episode of The Kapil Sharma Show featured singing stalwarts Daler Mehndi, Master Saleem, and Richa Sharma. The host Kapil Sharma entered the stage and was decked up in a dapper outfit.

He invited the guests and gave them a warm welcome on the show. Master Saleem entered the stage by singing 'Aahun Aahun'. Kapil praised him adding that he has been listening to his songs since he was 10 years old.

Richa Sharma entered by singing 'Tera Sajda'. Kapil welcomed Richa and called her 'didi'. The two get into a fun banter when Richa scolds him for not welcoming her properly. Kapil asked, "Toh swaagat kaise karun... jacket faad dun (Then how should I welcome you.. should I tear my jacket)?" Richa joked and said, "Faad mat, pack karke dede.. ab toh tera size bhi aa jaayega (Don't tear, just pack and give..now I can fit into your jacket)". She further complained, "Bhatija huya.. aur behen ko nek bhi nahi diya (My nephew was born and you didn't even give me a gift)".

Kapil then invited Daler Mehndi to the stage and he entered by singing 'Ho Jaayegi Balle Balle'. With his melodious voice, he gets the whole crowd grooving.

In the Post Ka Postmortem segment, Kapil questions Daler Mehndi about his 'herbal mutton'. He innocently replied 'Ayurvedic mutton'. Kapil and Archana were surprised and asked why he named it 'Herbal Mutton'. Daler replied that the goats are herbal as they eat a lot of herbs and plants and this left everyone in splits.

Kapil praised Master Saleem and revealed that he started singing when he was two years old and he did his first music concert at the age of seven.

In a conversation with Daler Mehndi, Kapil noticed his outfit and shared how the talented singer often opted for bright colours and long jackets. Quipping about Daler's dressing style, Kapil asked, "Jab aap kisi ki shaadi mein jaate ho, dulhe ne kabhi aapko peeche bulaya tent ke peeche ke 'paaji aa jao, sherwani badal lete hai ek dusre ke saath' (When you attend weddings, has a groom ever asked you to exchange his sherwani with you)?"

To this, Daler innocently replied, "Aksar mujhe lagta hai ki dulhe ki dress phikhi pad rahi hai (Often, I feel the grooms' outfits are not up to the mark)". This left Kapil in splits.

The show moved ahead with Krushna Abhishek, Chandan Prabhakar and Kiku Sharda putting up fantabulous acts. Krushna took a dig at Daler's younger brother Mika Singh's controversies saying that he is the only Indian singer who sleeps less. When Kapil asked him about the reason, he answered "Arre jiska bhai Mika Singh ho, usko neend thodi na aati hai (The man who's the brother of Mika Singh is bound to get less sleep)". This left everyone in splits.

The singers then gave a tribute to legendary singer and 'Nightingale of India' Lata Mangeshkar by singing her song 'Naam Gum Jayega'.
