The joyous sight of sheep playing in a deserted childrens' playground that will put a smile on your face

A herd of sheep have been caught on camera playing in a deserted children's playground - even pushing each other on a roundabout.

The sheep, which belong to Raglan Farm Park, are usually kept away from the children play area but due to the park being closed they have been allowed to roam free.

As well as enjoying the roundabout, the sheep were also spotted gathering around the zip-line and the swing set in the park.

Last week, a herd of goats took over a seaside town deserted because of lockdown.

They were seen trotting out in front of traffic, running through the streets at night and nibbling at flowers in people's gardens.

Owner of Raglan Farm Park Gareth Williams said that since being closed to the public the sheep have been roaming further around the park.

"I was quite shocked when I saw them on the roundabout, we don't usually have them down here so it was quite amazing to see," he said.

"Some of them were playing and others were all around the park - in the video it actually looks as if one of them are pushing the roundabout.

"I was really surprised at how quickly they've started to play and get the hang of it - as I said they're not usually here when the park is open."

Despite the park currently being closed due to Coronavirus, the 42-year-old is still being kept busy with lambing season.

"We've lambed 200 sheep and there are only ten left to lamb - the rest are now outside making the most of the good weather.

While the farm itself is closed, the farm shop is open for people to buy food and produce from the farm which Gareth says is busier than ever.
