The Jonas Brothers Are Headlining the NFL Melbourne Halftime Show & I’m Burnin’ Up

Are you burning up? Or feeling a bit of a love bug creeping in? Well, that could be because the Jonas Brothers have been confirmed as the headlining act for the 2026 NFL Melbourne halftime show.

The sibling group — consisting of Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas — will play ahead of the game between the San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Rams on Friday, September 11th at the MCG.

“We couldn’t be more excited to perform at halftime during the NFL’s first-ever regular season game in Australia,” the Jonas Brothers said.

“Playing at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground in front of such passionate Australian fans is an incredible honour. We can’t wait to be part of this historic moment and celebrate with everyone in the stadium and watching around the world.”

“Bringing the first-ever NFL regular season game to Australia is a landmark moment for the league, and we are committed to creating an entertainment experience that reflects the scale and significance of the occasion,” Tim Tubito, senior director of global game presentation and entertainment at the NFL, shared.

“The Jonas Brothers are global entertainers whose music connects across generations, making them the ideal artists to help us celebrate this historic game in Melbourne. We look forward to delivering a memorable halftime performance for our fans in Australia and those watching around the world.”

Fans around the world can watch the Melbourne game — including the full Jonas Brothers halftime performance — live on Netflix and on Seven Network in Australia.

Are there Australian acts performing at the NFL Melbourne game?

The NFL recently unveiled the first music lineup for its Game Kickoff Festival, which will run across Melbourne Park from September 10th-12th, coinciding with the league’s first-ever regular season game in Australia.

Peking Duk and Kita Alexander will kick off the live music program on Thursday before Grinspoon, Hot Dub Time Machine, and Public Figures take over on Friday. Sneaky Sound System will perform on the festival’s final day, with more artists still to be announced.

Alongside the music program, Melbourne Park will host NFL watch parties, Flag Football clinics, retail pop-ups and an American-style food village throughout the three days. Fans will also be able to see the Vince Lombardi Trophy and all 60 Super Bowl rings, while NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell will appear for a live Q&A on Thursday.

That same day, the festival will host a watch party for the opening game of the 2026 NFL season, which will see the defending Super Bowl champions, the Seattle Seahawks, face the New England Patriots in a Super Bowl LX rematch.

Tickets to the Kickoff Festival are on sale now, priced at $49 for adults on Thursday and Saturday and $59 on Friday. Children aged 13 and under can attend free with an accompanying adult ticket. See here for details.
