Hibs will rake in another windfall from the sale of John McGinn if Aston Villa gain promotion to the Premier League.
The Easter Road club sold McGinn to the English Championship side for £3million last summer, with Celtic also wanting to sign the Scotland midfielder.
Now, with Villa preparing to face Derby County on Monday in the playoff final, Hibs are set to cash in again.
Leeann Dempster is believed to have inserted a clause in his transfer that means the Leith outfit will bank another healthy sum should Dean Smith’s side win the £170million match.
The Evening News have reported Hibs negotiated a "sizeable sum" with the Midlands club should they go up to the top flight.
It would be the latest clause to benefit Scottish football, with Celtic receiving huge sell-on clauses for the likes of Virgil van Dijk.
Aberdeen are also poised to receive 20 per cent of any transfer fee over Ryan Fraser, with the Bournemouth winger the subject of serious interest from clubs such as Arsenal and Liverpool.
