This one shouldn’t register as much of a surprise — the Cincinnati Bengals Joe Burrow Color Rush jersey is a hit.
Cincinnati’s official Twitter account let loose Friday that the jersey was available and set social media ablaze.
Interestingly, at the time of this writing, the Burrow Color Rush jersey was the No. 1 ranked item over at NFL Shop.
The fans have spoken.
As we had previously noted, Burrow jerseys were hanging tough in the top 10 but sitting behind Miami Dolphins rookie quarterback Tua Tagovailoa and Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady.
Maybe part of that was the simple fact a portion of onlookers were holding out for the more simplistic, yet eye-catching color rush option. Those seem to match what fans really like right now and happen to hit on many of the wants of one Boomer Esiason, who wants the Bengals to re-do their “horrific” uniforms.
