The Jets’ defensive call on final TD stunned Derek Carr and was proof they were trying to lose

The New York Jets were about to win their first game of the season on Sunday when suddenly it was stolen away from them by Raiders QB Derek Carr, who hit Henry Huggs for a 46-yard TD pass to win the game in the final seconds.

But was it really stolen from the Jets or did the Jets give it away on purpose? If you look at their defensive call on that play it sure seems like they gave it away on purpose, which was the right thing to do.

Listen, the Jets stink and they don’t want to win a game and risk losing the No. 1 pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, where QB Trevor Lawrence will likely be the top pick.
