The Jet 2 and Ryanair Leeds Bradford Airport destinations moved to the red list

The recent heatwave has had many of us dreaming of that heat abroad, lounging in a pool whilst sipping a cocktail.

The absence of holidays has awoken some wanderlust in more travellers than ever, but even the more exotic countries are off the list it, meaning it's not just the tourist hotspots alone.

The recent announcement of no new countries added to the green list has sealed the fate of Leeds Bradford Turkey destinations, including Antalya, Bodrum Dalaman and Izmir, onto the red list.

It also means that Spain, which Leeds Bradford has 14 direct flights too and Portugal, remain in limbo on the amber list, with any travellers going being required to isolate and pay for at least two tests.

Greece, where Leeds has fourteen destinations, also remains on the amber list.

Seven new destinations have now been added to the red list - with flights available from Leeds Bradford airport.
