The Jeremy Kyle Show's beloved Big Steve bags new security job with well-known ITV star

Big Steve is well-known among The Jeremy Kyle Show fans for being the series' security on set.

The hench guy used to break up the brawls and clashes that often happened during the confrontational live-audience show - that was axed in May 2019.

When the series was shut down for good last year - after the tragic death of guest Steve Dymond - fans were worried about Big Steve's career but now he is working off screen with one of ITV's biggest stars - Judge Rinder.

Proving that the TV legal eagle cannot go far without his bodyguard, barrister Robert and Steve were pictured for the first time taking a stroll outside the ITV studios in Manchester on Friday.

The judge ditched his judicial wig and robes in favour of a blue padded jacket and jeans and Steve did not seem to be touched by the chilly winter temperature as he stepped out in a grey jersey hoodie.

Last year The Jeremy Kyle show was cancelled forever after Steve Dymond died following a drug overdose after starring on the show in 2019.

During his stint, Steve failed a lie detector test and was said to be crushed by the results.

He was found dead in his home by his landlady, resulting in the immediate axing of the ITV daytime show in May 2019.

TV star Jeremy Kyle - who hosted the series for 14 years - refused to attend last summer's select committee as MPs probed the aftercare provided by makers of reality TV.

The host swerved the Digital, Culture, Media And Sport Committee's invitation to have his say and be held accountable for what went on behind the scenes at his show.

Many former guests alleged they'd been plied with booze and wound up by producers before getting on the infamous stage, and some spoke of how the lack of aftercare left them suicidal and ostracised by their communities.
