The irony of the Bangkok Art Biennale

This month, the Big Mango may take pride in itself for hosting the Bangkok Art Biennale, which Bloomberg News said has turned our capital into "a giant art gallery".

During the Biennale or BAB -- which began last Friday and runs until February next year -- art aficionados can enjoy the works of 75 artists from 33 countries, at 20 different locations that include the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (BACC), various department stores and temples across the city.
