The Irn Bru festival is back this December - this is when tickets go on sale

Scotland's favourite fun filled family festival is back!

After a year off due to coronavirus restrictions, the Irn Bru Carnival is set to return this December.

The Glasgow based funfair will run from December 22 to January 16 in the SEC Centre - and tickets go on sale tomorrow.

Whether you are a thrill seeker or want to take the little ones out for the day, the festival has got it all!

The carnival is Europe's largest indoor funfair.

Packed with adventure rides to family and children's rides, as well as games, stalls and and soft play for the little ones, the carnival is set to be an unmissable event in this year's festive calendar.

In 2019, the carnival celebrated its 100th birthday with its biggest event so far, and this year is set to be just as exciting.

This year's event kicks off on Wednesday, December 22, with autism-friendly sessions running on both Friday, December 31 and Tuesday, 11 January.

The carnival is closed on Christmas Day.

Tickets will cost £16, with Young Scot / Kidz Card holders eligible for a discounted ticket at £13. Entry for concessions will cost £10 and kids 3 will get in for free.

Tickets go on sale tomorrow - September 23- at 10am via the carnival website here.
