The Irish pub nobody seems to want despite hugely attractive price tag

An old pub in Offaly is crying out for a bidder with a very attractive price tag.

The old Hole in the Wall pub in Tullamore is listed on Daft and went up for auction for just €100,000 on Thursday.

However, nobody seemed to bite at the price and the house will again go to online auction on Wednesday.

And looking at the property it's hard to see why someone wouldn't take a gamble on it - other than the current Covid rules that may scare a few off.

The 178 square metre public house comes with a seven day alcohol license included and only needs a small touch up.

Internally the property comprises a ground floor public house with residential accommodation overhead.

Sound like your cup of tea? It will cost you €4,500 to just get involved in the bidding via deposit although you will get it back if unsuccessful.
