The 'intriguing' new B&M chocolate bar baffling shoppers online

The new Cadbury Twirl Breakaway Bar being offered by B&M Bargains has divided opinion among shoppers online.

The discount store proudly posted a picture of the yummy creation on Instagram earlier this week (Monday, July 5) and quickly sparked debate.

A combination of the Twirl milk chocolate swirls and curls is sandwiched between two crispy wafers and covered in chocolate to make the bar.

But while some shoppers were in raptures over the delicious pairing, others were less impressed.

One Instagram user was quick to ask: "Isn't that just the same as a Cadbury's Time Out?"

While another said simply: "Original timeout!!!"

The Time Out bar which rose to fame in the 1990s was jauntily marketed as "The wafer break with a layer of Flake".

Wafer, cocoa and chocolate were its key ingredients, leading many to debate what is different about the Breakaway Bar.

But despite the controversy, hordes of snack lovers have already got their eye on the new treat.

Many tagged their friends under B&M's Instagram post and one wrote: "Omg we need this!"

Another said: "Looks intriguing" before tagging her pal.

If you fancy trying the new creation, they are on sale for £1.29 in B&M stores.
