Here’s the good news. If this image from a German twitter account is to be believed, Miami has a new draft cap. And if you remember some of Miami’s recent Draft caps, this is a step in the right direction.
Last year’s “Go Fins” cap was an abomination, so having something that has a little bit of flash to it is a nice departure from 2018.
But this isn’t official yet. As of this morning, apparel outlets like Fanatics have not updated their 2019 Draft section to include any new Dolphins headwear. There’s still some formality ahead, until an official introduction of any new line of caps is made.
If you’re hoping for something different, there’s bad news. Several other teams have confirmed or released the look of their 2019 caps and they match the ones depicted in the original image. New England was one team to have added the caps to their Pro Shop as of yesterday.
So if you hate the new look, condolences. But hey, it’s definitely better than last year’s look!
