Expectations are always high for the Super Bowl half-time show and, in the court of public opinion, Shakira and Jennifer Lopez more than delivered with their incredible performance on Sunday night.
Shakira opened the show with a medley of her hits like “She Wolf”, “Empire”, “Whenever, Wherever” and “Hips Don’t Lie.” For her rendition of “For I Like It Like That,” she also brought out Bad Bunny. Jennifer Lopez had no less than three outfit changes on stage and performed “Jenny from the Block,” “Get Right” and “Waiting for Tonight” among others. At one point, she emerged WWE-style draped in a cape that was an American flag on one side, and a Puerto Rico flag on the other.
Both women delivered phenomenal, sexy, butt-twerking performances, and were lauded for their effort.
