In an extremely rare occurrence, the internet is defending Kendall Jenner over a TikTok shared by the sister of her ex-boyfriend Ben Simmons.
And to top it all off, it has to do with Kendall’s infamous cooking skills.
Kendall and Ben, an Aussie NBA player, briefly dated from 2018 to 2019, and it seems their time together was randomly top of mind for Ben’s sister, Olivia Simmons.
Taking to TikTok earlier this week, Olivia recounted a story in which Kendall tried (and failed) to make cookies for the family while they played Cards Against Humanity — a game which should be an in-law no-no, but that’s besides the point.
“First of all, you’re Kendall Jenner. Don’t you guys have a chef?” Olivia said when recalling her thoughts on Kendall’s offer. “We saw you cutting up cucumbers, bitch. You don’t know how to cook.”
The cucumber in question is from *that* viral 2022 clip from The Kardashians, in which Kendall makes slicing a cucumber look like it requires an understanding of NASA-level astrophysics.
Kendall apparently had a similar tact when baking cookies from ready-made dough.
“You didn’t have to do much but to put it in the right place at the right time. The only thing you need to do is chop them up evenly,” Olivia continued in her TikTok while laughing.
“I have never seen so many uneven cookies, like what in tarnation? Just call your chef to come and cook these cookies for you,” Olivia quipped.
She concluded the anecdote by describing the Kar-Jenners as “weird bitches”, which she apparently knows first-hand because “I was sitting next to [Kendall]”.

While you might think, given her family’s reputation, that Kendall was the butt of many jokes in the comments, the reaction to Olivia’s video was surprisingly defensive of the model, as scores of users questioned the unprovoked mention of a years-old story.
“This is so weird of you,” one user wrote of Olivia’s anecdote, while another, who said they weren’t even a Kardashian fan, wrote that the post was “weirdly mean for no reason”.
Elsewhere, TikTokers argued the “story is unnecessary” to share, or said Kendall is “living in [Olivia’s] head 5 years later rent-free”.
“Can’t believe you’re making me defend Kendall Jenner,” another wrote.

Regardless of her intentions in sharing the clip, this isn’t the first time Olivia has mentioned Kendall.
Back in 2019, Olivia went in on Kendall after she was pictured with another basketballer shortly after her split from Ben, writing on X, “I just wouldn’t ever wanna be known for dating athletes. Like imagine working your way through a league.”
