Michel Vorm's return to Tottenham seems to have gone down very well indeed with one of his teammates.
Initially released by the club in the summer after they elected against handing him a new deal, the 35-year-old signed a short-term contract with Spurs on Monday evening in wake of Hugo Lloris' dislocated elbow.
The Frenchman is expected to return to training in 2020 and Mauricio Pochettino believed the time was right to bring in an experienced shot-stopper to provide cover for Paulo Gazzaniga between now and then.
That saw Vorm sign a deal until the end of the season and he could be back on the bench against Watford on Saturday.
With the vast majority of players still away on international duty ahead of this weekend's return to league action, Vorm will only have seen a handful of his teammates at Hotspur Way since returning.
Having recorded a 2-0 win over Kazakhstan on Sunday in Belgium's final international game of the break, Jan Vertonghen was back at the club's training base and he uploaded a photo of the pair back together alongside a blue heart emoji on his Instagram account.
The pair formed a close bond in Vorm's five years at the club and the defender paid an emotional tribute to the goalkeeper on social media at the start of June following his exit.
"Unbelievable guy, Will miss having you around the club, Wishing you nothing but the best in the future," he posted on Instagram.
Given that Vorm has formed a close friendship with a number of players at the club since first joining back in 2014, we may see a few more selfies with his teammates once they all fully return to training in the coming days.
