Leeds United have secured the signature of highly-rated young forward Charlie Allen, according to a report by BelfastLive.

A Tottenham insider gives their view on Jack Clarke's future

Jack Clarke was one of the many success stories of the Marcelo Bielsa era at Leeds United, with the youngster's early showings for the club eye-catching.

Many view the January 2019 victory over Derby County as the player's coming of age, and it was not long before he grabbed the attention of Tottenham Hotspur.

The North London club quickly secured his signature and loaned him back to Elland Road before he moved down to the capital last summer.

Sadly things haven't gone well for Clarke. He has struggled to break into the first-team at Spurs and was loaned out to Queens Park Rangers to get some much-needed game time.

Prior to the season being halted due to the coronavirus Clarke had managed just 95 minutes in the league, with his future at Spurs looking unclear. He has been linked with a move to Celtic in recent weeks and now an insider at White Hart Lane has given their verdict on Clarke.

How the Championship table would look for Leeds United if the season is ended

The EFL has revealed that an unweighted points per game system will decide promotion-relegation if the league is curtailed due to the coronavirus.

Speculation has been rife about just how the EFL will choose to complete what remains of the football season, with positive discussions this week leaning towards restarting Championship games in June.

An EFL statement on Friday confirmed that: "In the event of a curtailment of the season, the EFL Board outlined how this could be addressed through a framework that includes maintaining the principle of promotion and relegation, league tables to be determined via unweighted points per game (PPG) and Play-Offs to remain in every division to determine the final promotion place."

The EFL board are said to be considering a request from League Two to suspend relegation after they opted to curtail their season.

You can see how Leeds would do if the EFL went through with a points per game system.
